People Say

How much does Medical Cannabis cost?
Medical Cannabis due to its complexity can be very difficult to conclude a final cost. This is due to several reasons such as lack of product availability in the UK, different dosage requirements for different individuals and, the expensive cost of specialist consultants. Most clinics will advertise a substantially lower average cost to entice the patient into the clinic and commit to a consultation. They are then presented with a monthly cost of cannabis medicine into the £000’s.
LVL Health provides patients access to a unique access route to medical cannabis for treating chronic pain. By joining LVL Health, you will be joining a chronic pain study programme that has been specifically designed for chronic pain patients using well-supported research. As part of this research, your anonymised data will be collected and used to develop a standard of care programme accessible by primary care surgeries. This means that you will be helping thousands of people suffering from chronic pain, access medical cannabis in the near future from their GP surgeries. As LVL patients are taking part in a wider chronic pain study programme, the cost to access medical cannabis is substantially reduced with the added benefit of a stable supply of cannabis at a fixed price per month with no hidden costs.

Multi-Disciplinary Team Meeting
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team consists of several health care professionals specialising in chronic pain who will determine if you are eligible for treatment using medicinal cannabis.
Once your case has been evaluated and the team have agreed you are eligible, you will then be invited to proceed to the next step.

Receive Medication

Using the Inhalation Device and LVL Group Mobile App
Detailed instructions on how to pair and use the device will be provided to you upon the first login to the mobile app. Your unique login credentials will be provided to you by email during the onboarding journey.
Before you can use the device to inhale your medical cannabis, you will be asked to answer a pain questionnaire. Once this is complete the device will allow you to inhale your medication. Using the application on your smartphone, you can see how much of the dose you have consumed and how much is left for that particular day as per the doctors prescription.
As part of your ongoing treatment, you will be required to answer safety questions after each dose which helps the doctor monitor and adjust your dosage accordingly. You will not be able to consume the next day's dose without answering these questions.
Once per week you will be asked to answer a pain monitoring questionnaire and, once every 3 months you will also be asked to answer a quality of life questionnaire.

Quarterly Review Appointment
The purpose of a review appointment is to discuss your treatment, its effectiveness and for the doctor to make any dosage changes as necessary as part of your ongoing treatment plan.
